Enterprise Risk Management Analyst

Summary

Coverys is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management Analyst to support the governance and ongoing management of its Enterprise Risk Management function. The role contributes to risk identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, reporting, vendor risk management, metrics oversight, issues management, and ERM committee coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Vendor Risk Management program by assisting business partners with the completion of risk-based vendor performance reviews to ensure timely governance and completion
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of risk control matrices, control risk assessments, risk profiles, heat maps, control effectiveness reports and related ERM documentation
• Provide support on the monitoring of risks against established tolerance levels
• Assist in coordinating the compilation, data aggregation, and updating of enterprise-level risk metrics, including aggregated global reporting
• Assist in the creation and routine reporting of metrics that measure key risk and performance areas
• Prepare documentation for, and facilitate, Horizon scanning working group meetings
• Assist in the preparation of key documents for the Enterprise Risk Management Committee
• Proactively monitor remediation progress of action items identified for timely resolution
• Continue the development of appropriate technical skills through internal and external resources to stay abreast of evolving risk themes pertaining to ERM related practices, issues and trends that may impact Coverys
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year College or University in Risk Management, Business, Finance or related discipline required
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Work in an agile way, be innovative and keep pace with a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to interact across all levels of the organization
• Working knowledge of enterprise risk and operational risk management frameworks, principles, and practices is a plus
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred
