Summary
CRB provides sustainable engineering, architecture, construction, and consulting solutions to the global life sciences and food and beverage industries. The Control Systems Developer I will program, implement, test, and document automated control systems, while supporting installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, customer training, and collaboration with project teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, program, and implement automated control systems for a variety of industrial applications
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot PC/PLC hardware, software, and customer networks
- Support system installation and commissioning at client sites
- Provide in-house and on-site training for customer operators
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information
- Deliver occasional after-hours support as needed
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, partners, and clients in a team-oriented environment
- Travel up to 35% for system installations and plant start-ups, including potential overnight shifts
- Maintain a regular in-office presence
Skills
- Associate degree in Computer Studies; Instrumentation and Controls; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects
- Passionate about problem solving and developing solutions
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office software suite required
- Excellent organizational skills and mechanical inclination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
