Summary

The Analyst, Analytic Services delivers data-driven insights and business intelligence for healthcare clients, analyzes pharmacy and healthcare data, and develops actionable recommendations. The role also involves client consulting, cross-functional collaboration, project management, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Analyze healthcare and pharmacy-related data to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights
- Translate business questions into data-driven analytical approaches and actionable solutions
- Develop meaningful conclusions and recommendations based on quantitative analysis
- Support client-specific projects and analyses to address strategic and operational business needs
- Maintain an understanding of healthcare industry trends, PBM operations, and organizational programs and services
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and analytical requirements
- Communicate analytical findings, methodologies, and recommendations to business leaders and clients
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and discussions to support strategic healthcare initiatives
- Provide consultative support on PBM pricing strategies, pharmacy networks, specialty pharmacy, rebates, and administrative fee structures
- Assist clients in understanding and achieving financial and operational goals
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across sales, clinical, account management, finance, underwriting, operations, network management, trade, and product marketing teams
- Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality analytical solutions and client deliverables
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving initiatives
- Manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities while meeting tight deadlines
- Ensure analytical outputs and client deliverables are accurate, complete, and delivered on time
- Support client presentations and contribute to the development of written reports and strategic recommendations
- Participate in occasional client-facing meetings, both virtual and onsite, as needed
Skills
- Minimum one year of experience in analytics, business analysis, or a related quantitative field
- Experience may be gained through professional, educational, or internship experience
- Background in one or more of the following disciplines: Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Operational Analysis, Epidemiology, Marketing Research, Accounting, Other data-driven fields
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Experience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing large-scale datasets
- Proficiency with Dataiku, Google Cloud, SQL, Python, SAS, or other statistical and database management tools
- Experience with advanced Excel modeling and financial analysis
- Knowledge of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) operations
- Demonstrated ability to use analytics to solve complex business problems
- Strong presentation skills with experience communicating results to clients and leadership
- Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams
- Master's degree or MBA in Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, or another quantitative discipline is a plus
