Job description
Summary
DB Services is a small growing software development company based in the Indianapolis area. They are looking for energetic, creative individuals to train in building custom database solutions for clients, involving design, implementation, and maintenance of systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop (training provided) proficiency in the FileMaker product line
- Work closely with Business Project Manager and other FileMaker Developers to design, implement, and maintain systems with a high level of quality
- Design screens, write and test code/scripts
- Utilize understanding of system analysis (ERDs and workflow diagrams)
- Work with project management tools daily
- Regularly communicate in writing tasks accomplished

- Strong understanding of relational database design
- Solid programming skills
- B.S. degree in technical field (computer science, physics, math, sciences), or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with mySQL or PHP is a plus
- Ability to provide samples of your development work is a plus
