Job description

Summary

Cargill is a leading company committed to providing food and agricultural solutions to nourish the world sustainably. They are seeking an ERP Application Developer who will be responsible for supporting the design, integration, and implementation of large-scale applications while ensuring reliability and adaptability to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up and maintains application configurations to meet user and business requirements while developing and recommending and implementing improvements to standard and moderately complex application support processes and procedures
  • Performs programming, configuration, testing and deployment of fixes or updates for application version releases. Designs, configures, tests, deploys and supports large and complex application changes and fixes in accordance with established standards and practices
  • Keeps an open channel of communication with users stakeholders and responds to standard and moderately complex application support requests and needs
  • Conducts application support activities to maintain system stability and meet business outcomes
  • Collaborates effectively with business partners, technical peers & vendors in multi-functional global teams, including business partners to ensure solutions and configurations align with business requirements and best practices
  • Reviews, analyzes and prioritizes incoming incident tickets and user requests, driving timely resolution within agreed processes, balancing delivery speed with quality and stability

Skills

  • Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale applications (ERP preferred) in a techno functional capacity, with exposure to one or more ERP business domains (eg. Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Agriculture, Finance). Translating business requirements to technical specifications
  • Proven experience working on large and complex application implementations (e.g. ERP) across the full lifecycle, including system design and implementation, deployment, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization and support leveraging Agile, Scrum, and/or DevOps practices
  • Knowledge and/or experience with languages such as Java, C#, Python, or platform specific scripting (eg. ABAP for SAP) for application customization and experience with various pipelines is preferred
  • Experience with data migration strategies and large scale data transfers from legacy systems, including ETL processes

Benefits

  • Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
