Job description

Summary

The company is a global leader in engineering and technology for the building materials industry. The Field Service Engineer will support on-site industrial and robotic applications, including electrical wiring, mechatronic equipment, instrumentation, mechanical installations, testing, PLCs, and HMIs, while coordinating with subcontractors and customers.

Skills

  • Good electrical drawings reading skills. Ability to supervise subcontractors in the wiring and cabling process, know the good practices for hardware electrical work
  • Strong Technical knowledge and experience with mechatronic equipment, instrumentation, sensors and actuators
  • Strong Technical knowledge on Mechanical installation, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic layouts to identify deviations such as failures, damages or breakdowns
  • Good knowledge about IO tests and basic equipment Functional tests
  • Basic knowledge in PLC Hardware & Software Programming
  • Basic knowledge in HMI Programming
  • Knowledge and experience in an industrial working environment especially in Robotic applications
  • Action oriented, proactive and Self-motivated with a flexible approach to working hours
  • Autonomous and situational adaptability to face on-site issues and find a solution locally and quickly
  • Ensure accountability, plan and align activities by focusing on objectives
  • Collaboration and effective communication with different stakeholders, especially with a customer focus
