Summary

The Salesforce Data Migration Engineer will design and execute data migration strategies, transform and validate data, develop ETL workflows, support integrations, and maintain data integrity during large-scale Salesforce migrations.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute data migration strategies into Salesforce
- Extract, transform, cleanse, map, and load data from legacy and external systems
- Develop and maintain ETL processes and data migration workflows
- Create data mapping specifications and transformation rules
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks
- Support migration testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities
- Develop and optimize integrations using Salesforce APIs and related technologies
- Work with Salesforce Architects, Developers, and business stakeholders to resolve data issues
- Support migration of large datasets while maintaining data integrity and system performance
- Document migration processes, data mappings, procedures, and results

- * U.S. Citizenship is required
- * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- * 3+ years of experience with Salesforce data migration or data engineering
- * Strong experience with Salesforce data models, APIs, Data Loader, and SOQL
- * Experience with ETL tools and data transformation processes
- * Experience with data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and quality management
- * Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- * Experience with large datasets and complex data migrations
- * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- * Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer, Data Architect, or Integration Architect
- * Experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms
- * Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or similar technologies
- * Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
- * Experience migrating data from legacy applications into Salesforce
- * Experience with Salesforce DevOps and automated migration processes
- * Experience working in Agile development environments
