IT Support Technician

Summary

Dynamic Systems (DSI), LLC is seeking a reliable IT Support Technician to assist their Houston office and various job sites. The role involves handling day-to-day IT issues, setting up equipment, and providing support in both office and shop environments.

Responsibilities

• Fix basic computer issues (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.)
• Respond to IT tickets and help users with day-to-day problems
• Travel between office and shop locations to provide support
• Set up new computers, devices, and equipment
• Help troubleshoot network and connectivity issues
• Work in shop environments supporting workstations, tool controllers, and shop systems
• Act as 'remote hands' for senior IT or outside vendors
• Help with employee setup (new hires, equipment, accounts)
• Track and manage IT equipment inventory
• Go to job sites in the Houston area when needed

Skills

• Basic IT knowledge (Windows, hardware, Microsoft 365)
• Dependable and able to get the job done
• Comfortable working in shop/industrial environments
• Able to follow direction and work through tickets
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• Able to lift and move equipment when needed
• Valid driver's license and able to travel locally
• 1+ year of IT support experience
• CompTIA A+ or similar certification
• Experience working in a shop or field environment
