Summary
Ease Health is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage the day-to-day revenue cycle for a set of behavioral health customers. The role is responsible for claims, authorizations, payment posting, reconciliation, accounts receivable follow-up, customer communication, and improving revenue cycle processes and systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage claim submission for your customers, on time and complete
- Track authorizations across payers and levels of care
- Handle payment posting, reconciliation, ERA enrollments, and remittance workflows
- Work AR follow-up on denials, underpayments, and aging claims
- Communicate with customers to gather information and resolve billing issues
- Learn our RCM system and tell us what's missing
- Spot recurring billing issues and help build the processes that prevent them
Skills
- • Deep familiarity with the behavioral health revenue cycle: claims, authorizations, denials, and payer follow-up
- • Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills
- • Ability to learn new software quickly
- • Comfort operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- • Strong organization and attention to detail across multiple customers
- • 3+ years of behavioral health billing experience preferred
- • Experience with multiple clearinghouses and payer portals
- • Knowledge of EDI, eligibility verification, or benefits verification
- • Prior RCM management at a billing company or provider organization
