Summary
IBM is seeking a US Application Developer to support application development and data-related initiatives within its Intelligent Operations organization. The role focuses on developing and enhancing enterprise applications, processing and integrating data, working with databases and cloud platforms, and troubleshooting application and data-integration issues.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications
- Work with Unix/Linux environments for application and data-processing activities
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions using SQL Server and Sybase
- Work with AWS cloud services and cloud-based application/data solutions
- Develop and optimize data processing solutions using Snowflake, Snowpark, and PySpark
- Use Python for application development, automation, data processing, and integration
- Work with Java and Microsoft .NET technologies as required
- Develop and maintain data integration workflows using Informatica
- Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and processing
- Troubleshoot application, database, and data-integration issues
- Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and other IBM teams
- Follow enterprise development, security, and quality standards
