Summary
Edkey is seeking a Data Analyst who will coordinate and oversee the development, maintenance, and analysis of key measurements and relevant data indicators. The role involves moderate to complex data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting to support internal stakeholders and process improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the development, maintenance, and analysis of key measurements and other relevant data indicators, risk factors, and service utilization data
- Responsible for moderate to complex data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting
- Respond to requests from Department/Bureau staff for population data and reports
- Provide advanced support and assistance to one or more supervisors or professionals
- Coordinate and maintain datasets, KPIs, and performance/risk indicators
- Execute moderate-to-complex data collection, cleaning, and validation
- Analyze data, interpret findings, and produce clear, actionable reports
- Respond to internal stakeholder requests for data, ad-hoc analyses, and visualizations
- Support process improvement efforts using data-driven recommendations
- Assist supervisors and team members with technical analyses and reporting tasks
- Edit and reformat written or electronic drafts, transcribe reports or similar material as needed
Skills
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree is required
- Two (2) years of data analysis or directly related experience is required, OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- If extended an offer, candidates will be required to produce original required documents (for example: current driver's license, diploma, school transcript, certifications, etc.) within five (5) days of receiving a written offer
- Degrees awarded outside the United States (with the exception of those awarded in U.S. territories and Canada) must be credentialed by World Education Services (WES), Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) or a National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) member organization
- Skill in executing moderately complex data collection, synthesis, analysis, reporting, and developing recommendations where analysis is often procedural and straightforward
- Ability to collaborate with team members and entry-level management to ensure accuracy and precision in analysis
- Knowledge of procedural analytical practices and ability to adapt to new methods
- Experience using data to drive measurable process improvements
- Ability to edit and reformat written or electronic drafts and transcribe reports from voice or handwritten drafts
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Data analysis, reporting, data visualization, dashboards
- SQL, data querying, Power BI or Tableau
- Statistical analysis, trend analysis, KPI development
