Engineering Economics, Inc. (EEI) is a recognized leader in facility and energy consulting, seeking a Project Engineer. The role involves participating in project planning, conducting field investigations, and supporting energy assessments to improve building performance.
Responsibilities
- Participate in project planning and commissioning activities
- Conduct field investigations and system testing for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Document findings, prepare reports, and help resolve performance issues
- Support energy assessments, facility condition studies, and other building performance projects
Skills
- BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred)
- 0–1 year of experience — no direct commissioning experience required (training provided)
- Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical systems and construction documents
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel locally and out-of-state
