Summary
Elevate is an expert-led, AI-powered global law company providing software, consulting, and legal services. The Temporary Legal Operations Analyst will support high-volume labor and employment matters by collecting data, reviewing filings, following legal operations processes, interfacing with customer systems and custodians, communicating with counsel, and assisting with reporting and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Handle high volume employment cases by collecting critical data through various customer systems
- Set and maintain high standards of professional service
- Review discrimination charges, employment demands and related filings
- Follow processes and playbooks
- Interface with broader team. Interface with customer systems and custodians to ensure compliance with orders and gather discovery responses
- Communicate with counsel
- Assist with reporting, gathering metrics, and process improvement
Skills
- 2+ years of experience in U.S. Litigation
- 2+ years of experience using technology in an area that is highly processed; preferably including experience handling subpoena responses and/or employment charges/demands
- Strong communication skills - able to professionally interface with customers and litigants' counsel and able to communicate issues directly to the internal manager rather than the customer
- Detail oriented and analytical, always looking for ways to improve the process or challenge the status quo
- Strong base of analytical experience and willingness to learn new techniques
- Ability to handle multiple matters at one time/strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to handle a high-volume of matters
- Able to work with remote team members using technology (video calls, emails/teams chats)
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Team player - able to jump in as needed to assist other team members
- Ability to assist on other matters as time allows
- Flexible and open to learning new areas as needed
- Able to be self-directed and work independently to meet and exceed goals
- Excited to learn, grow, and not afraid to take on new responsibilities
- Interested in working in a fast-paced environment with a company doing innovative things in the legal space
- Experience with M365: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with web-based applications
- Bachelor's or associate degree required
- Experience in labor and employment law is highly preferred
- Paralegal certificate is a plus but not required
