Summary
eStreet Security is a cybersecurity services and talent marketplace company recruiting Data Scientists for multiple client opportunities. The role involves analyzing large datasets, building and deploying predictive and machine learning models, applying statistical methods, collaborating cross-functionally, and communicating insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Data Exploration & Modeling: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover insights and build predictive models
- Machine Learning & AI: Design, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models to solve real business problems
- Statistical Analysis: Apply rigorous statistical methods to test hypotheses, quantify uncertainty, and validate findings
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data into action
- Deployment & Productionization: Partner with engineering teams to move models and pipelines into production environments
- Storytelling & Communication: Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences through reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging tools, techniques, and research in data science and AI
Skills
- * Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Python or R, and familiarity with SQL for data manipulation
- * ML Frameworks: Hands-on experience with libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, or similar
- * Data Tools: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), data pipelines, and version control (Git)
- * Soft Skills: Strong communication, intellectual curiosity, business acumen, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
- * Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- * Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, analytics, or a related field preferred
- * Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field preferred. Master's or PhD a plus – or equivalent practical experience
