Job description

Summary

EverTrue is an advancement intelligence and donor engagement platform serving educational institutions and non-profit organizations. The Project Manager will manage customer implementations, re-implementations, and internal projects while coordinating cross-functional teams, maintaining project plans and documentation, communicating with stakeholders, and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer product implementations, customer re-implementations and internal projects in partnership with Customer Operations leadership and Executive Sponsors
  • Build and maintain project plans, schedules, and timelines that keep work on track from kickoff to project close out
  • Monitor progress against deadlines and proactively flag risks or blockers before they become problems
  • Own day-to-day project communication, including status updates, meeting notes, and follow-ups with stakeholders
  • Partner with internal teams and clients to keep projects moving smoothly and on schedule
  • Maintain clear, accurate project documentation covering scope, timelines, decisions, and changes
  • Deliver regular status reports that keep stakeholders and leadership informed
  • Keep project tracking tools up to date so the whole team has visibility into progress
  • Serve as the go-to point of contact for your projects, managing expectations with clients and internal teams alike
  • Know when to escalate — bringing the right issues to leadership at the right time to keep projects moving, maximize customer satisfaction and product value and address friction points constructively
  • Follow established project management team processes and templates, and speak up when you spot ways to improve them
  • May include occasional travel to customer locations or company meetings, not to exceed 10%
  • Identify, participate in and lead process improvement initiatives with the customer operations team to streamline implementations

Skills

  • You bring 4+ years of experience managing technical, cross-functional projects within enterprise software development environments, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams
  • You have proven success managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, balancing competing priorities while keeping stakeholders aligned and informed
  • You are a strong communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, Implementation, and Enablement teams
  • You approach challenges with an analytical and creative mindset, and you thrive in complex systems and evolving environments
  • You have experience with project management tools such as Asana, SmartSheets, or similar platforms, and use them to drive clarity, accountability, and execution
  • You are familiar with product development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum and understand how cross-functional product teams operate
  • You are highly self-motivated and optimistic, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-first culture
  • You hold a PMP certification or equivalent project management credential, or are actively working toward one
  • You are genuinely excited about an internal-facing project role, with interest in growing into a full-time, client-facing Project Manager role over time
  • You have familiarity with EverTrue's product suite and integration points, which is a plus
