Summary
First American is a title insurance company whose Agency Division provides policy-issuing agents with resources, services, and underwriting guidance. The Associate Sales Representative is a development role focused on learning the sales process, products, services, and sales administration while building client relationships and developing territory sales skills.
Responsibilities
- Learn and master the sales process and understand the products and services offered
- Learn sales administration by participating in sales office functions
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients
- Conduct market research and develop sales strategies; gather and analyze information to build knowledge base and identify trends for assigned territory/product
- Observe the sales process by calling on accounts; adhere to established sales steps
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational improvement opportunities; read sales and marketing publications
- Prepare and deliver product presentations
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- This position will require travel in Michigan
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in sales or customer service
- Requires a valid driver's license
- Excellent communication and listening skills
