Summary
First Citizens Bank is hiring a Business Systems Analyst III to support technology governance and business systems. The role provides strategic insight into SDLC governance, technology controls, compliance, reporting, system support, and continuous process improvement across technology and business teams.
Responsibilities
- **Data Analysis** - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output
- **Identifying Requirements** - Determines system requirements and communicates them through the use of specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Identifies issues that affect system processes, and assists in correcting. Ensures compliance through testing and analysis
- **Reporting** - Produces advanced reporting based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. May develop process enhancements based on analysis results
- **System Support** - Provides expert technical support for systems by responding to escalated inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Implements recommended modifications and enhancements. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering guidance on systems and data output
- **Support execution and ongoing maturation of the SDLC Governance**, including standards, procedures, and controls
- **Perform complex analysis of SDLC processes**, compliance data, and governance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
- **Review SDLC artifacts** to assess adherence to governance requirements, including requirements management, testing, approvals, change management
- **Monitor and report on SDLC compliance**, exceptions, issues, risks, and remediation activities
Skills
- Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 4 years' experience
- High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 8 years' experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support
- Support execution and ongoing maturation of the SDLC Governance, including standards, procedures, and controls
- Perform complex analysis of SDLC processes, compliance data, and governance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
- Review SDLC artifacts to assess adherence to governance requirements, including requirements management, testing, approvals, change management
- Monitor and report on SDLC compliance, exceptions, issues, risks, and remediation activities
- Current contractor/contingent worker for First Citizens Bank
Qualifications
Must Haves
