Summary
Freeman Health System is seeking a Revenue Recovery Analyst to support healthcare revenue integrity and financial performance. The role identifies and reduces revenue loss through denial prevention, write-off analysis, data analysis, root cause investigations, process improvement, stakeholder education, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- The Revenue Recovery Analyst is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and reducing revenue loss through denial prevention, write off analysis, and upstream recovery optimization. This role performs detailed data analysis to identify trends, conducts root cause analysis of denials and operational adjustments, and partners with clinical, coding, revenue cycle, and finance teams to drive corrective actions. The Revenue Recovery Analyst supports enterprise revenue integrity by improving processes, educating stakeholders, and monitoring the effectiveness of remediation efforts
Skills
- Experience in revenue integrity, denial analysis, billing compliance, or revenue cycle analytics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Epic experience preferred
- Experience supporting denial prevention or revenue recovery initiatives
- Healthcare certification (coding, billing, or revenue cycle) preferred
Qualifications
