Summary

MultiCare Health System is a healthcare organization serving patients and communities. The Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst I analyzes revenue cycle operations to identify and resolve billing and system application problems, collaborates with IS-Application Analysts, maintains system files, prepares reports, supports projects, and trains staff.

Responsibilities

• The Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst I performs detailed analytical and statistical review of the revenue cycle to identify and resolve billing and related problems in system applications
• The incumbent acts as an internal liaison, working directly with IS-Application Analysts to review, research, analyze, troubleshoot and problem solve to ensure effective administration of system wide applications for integrated network operations; assists in the development of procedures and standards; updates and maintains dictionary tables and system master files; creates test scenarios; prepares reports, documentation; oversees project status, communicates findings and trains staff, as necessary

Skills

• Minimum five (5) years relevant healthcare billing experience with background in research and analysis of billing problems
• Minimum two (2) years computer experience or training
• Experience in developing, implementing, operating, maintaining or using information systems in hospital and/or clinic settings
• Two years college or medical business school preferred
