Summary

The Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst I is responsible for analyzing the revenue cycle, resolving billing issues, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective system operations.
Responsibilities
- Performs detailed analytical and statistical review of the revenue cycle to identify and resolve billing and related problems in system applications
- Acts as an internal liaison, working directly with IS-Application Analysts to review, research, analyze, troubleshoot and problem solve to ensure effective administration of system wide applications for integrated network operations
- Assists in the development of procedures and standards
- Updates and maintains dictionary tables and system master files
- Creates test scenarios
- Prepares reports, documentation; oversees project status, communicates findings and trains staff, as necessary
Skills
- Minimum five (5) years relevant healthcare billing experience with background in research and analysis of billing problems
- Minimum two (2) years computer experience or training
- Experience in developing, implementing, operating, maintaining or using information systems in hospital and/or clinic settings
- Two years college or medical business school preferred
