Summary
Gainwell Technologies provides healthcare technology and business solutions. The Long-Term Care Auditor I supports the identification and recovery of Medicaid improper payments to long-term care providers by conducting audits, analyzing financial data, managing provider communications, and preparing reports.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and apply federal and state Medicaid regulations, statutes, and policies related to long term care
- Analyze provider records across multiple accounting software systems to identify discrepancies
- Identify improper payments, including those resulting from inaccurate payments, collections issues, and coordination of benefits
- Serve as the primary liaison for assigned long term care providers, ensuring clear and consistent communication
- Manage a caseload of 30+ in various stages of completion
- Prepare and deliver provider reports and maintain ongoing communication throughout the audit process
- Provide regular status updates and reports to management

- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet or exceed revenue and audit targets
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and long term care providers
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and follow direction as needed
- Must reside in Eastern or Central Time Zone locations
- Reliable broadband internet required (minimum 24 Mbps download / 8 Mbps upload; higher speeds recommended)
