Garver is an employee-owned engineering, planning, and environmental services firm focused on various sectors including buildings. They are seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in building design, specifically in power, lighting, and communications systems.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside and be mentored by experienced building design professionals and industry leaders
- Learn about building power, lighting, and communications systems
- Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry
- Engage daily with fellow Garver Launch interns and industry professionals to build your network
- Participate in Garver's acclaimed wellness program, empowering you to prioritize your overall well-being
- Give back to your community through volunteer activities as part of our Garver Gives initiative
- Enhance your professional growth by collaborating with Garver's Learning and Development team, which offers tailored training and programs, including skills-based courses, designed to support your development
- Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work-related tasks or to attend meetings may be required
Skills
- Must be pursuing an electrical engineering degree or an architectural engineering degree with an electrical focus from an ABET accredited program
- Strong desire to pursue a career in building systems engineering
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Revit
