Summary

The Administrative Assistant supports Imaging Services Administration by coordinating departmental reporting, maintaining system data integrity, troubleshooting information systems, processing financial and patient data, and analyzing operational information.
Responsibilities
- Provides assistance with DSS modeling. DSS data processing and technical coordinator. Knowledge of modeling, budgeting, accounting transactions, decision support, processing productivity reporting and monitoring
- Acts as Thomson Action Coordinator
- Assists Genesis staff with benchmark analysis as needed
- Troubleshoot errors within Eclipsys and Action systems
- Completes monthly financial processing 3 business days from accounting close
- Completes monthly patient processing 5 business days from accounting close
- Prepare flex budget upload for Accounting Prepare Solucient Action data collection and submittal quarterly
- Completes overrides and other budget functions
- Maintains open communications with functional area manager/director regarding projects and systems issues
- Tracks information and completes detailed analyses reports
- Manages department-specific programming tables and distributes table information to staff as appropriate
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or Information Systems Management or equivalent experience in hospital information systems
- Strong verbal communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to independently prioritize and focus on multiple tasks concurrently
- Experience with healthcare and/or specific departmental functions
- Ability to read and/or write in order to understand, explain, or describe moderately complex information
- Strong PC skills in Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, and Windows applications
- Knowledge of Crystal Reporting
