The role supports attorneys in preparing civil litigation matters for trial, including managing discovery, drafting legal documents, reviewing medical records, coordinating examinations, and preparing for trial.

Responsibilities

• Assisting attorneys in preparing civil litigation matters for trial
• Work with clients to receive discovery documents
• Review discovery materials
• Draft motions and discovery responses as well as other documents
• Draft and send out Subpoenas
• Set up independent medical examinations
• Review medical records and summarize important information
• Prepare for trial

Skills

• 2+ years of experience in civil litigation
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Insurance defense
• Paralegal certificate or other related degree
