Job description

Summary

Greystar is a global real estate platform offering property management, investment management, development, and construction services. The Analytics Engineering Intern will work with analysts, engineers, and business teams to solve a real business problem by building and validating data models, analyzing data quality, documenting work, and presenting recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business teams to understand their goals and data needs
  • Build and validate data models using SQL, Python, and Databricks
  • Use AI coding assistants as part of your day-to-day workflow
  • Analyze data, identify quality issues, and develop practical solutions
  • Test, document, and improve your work based on feedback
  • Present your final project and recommendations to business and Decision Intelligence leaders

Skills

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
  • Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028
  • Experience with SQL and Python through coursework, projects, or previous internships
  • Exposure to data visualization or business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Interest in using AI tools to support technical and analytical work
  • Strong communication, curiosity, and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly, ask thoughtful questions, and take ownership of your work
