Summary
Greystar is a global real estate platform offering property management, investment management, development, and construction services. The Associate Analytics Engineer will use data, analytics, AI, SQL, Python, and Databricks to build reliable data products, dashboards, analyses, and models that support business decisions. The role also involves collaborating with business partners, validating data quality, presenting recommendations, and increasing ownership over time.
Responsibilities
- Use SQL, Python, Databricks, and AI-enabled tools to analyze data and build data products
- Work directly with business partners to understand problems and turn them into practical solutions
- Build and maintain reliable data models, dashboards, analyses, and other analytics products
- Use AI tools and automation as part of your day-to-day development workflow
- Validate data quality and help ensure the products you build are accurate, reliable, and well documented
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical partners
- Take on increasing ownership as your technical skills and understanding of the business grow
Skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; internships, co-ops, academic projects, and personal projects count
- Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Python
- Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in your work, coursework, or personal projects
- Curious, resourceful, and comfortable learning new technologies and unfamiliar business problems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
