Accounts Receivable Rep (Government Billing)

Summary

Emplify Health is a not-for-profit, patient-centered healthcare network formed through a partnership between Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System. The Accounts Receivable Rep will support accurate billing and reimbursement processes in the Insurance Follow-Up department while assisting patients and internal teams with healthcare finance and compliance-related matters.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring accurate billing and reimbursement processes while supporting our patients and internal teams

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of work experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Successful completion of core competency testing for Accounts Receivable Representatives after training
• Preferably in a medical facility, insurance company, or office setting
• Familiarity with medical billing and third-party payor processes is a plus
