Job description

Summary

Harbor provides expert services across strategy, legal technology, operations, and intelligence. The Business Analyst & Workflow Associate Consultant will help corporate legal teams streamline processes, identify automation opportunities, and design solutions using no-code and low-code platforms. The role involves client engagement, workflow implementation, testing, support, and collaboration with legal, engineering, and development teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews, research, and process observations to identify automation opportunities
  • Create process maps, requirements documents, and solution designs that reflect optimized workflows
  • Develop and test automated workflows using no-code or low-code platforms
  • Troubleshoot workflows not meeting customer expectations
  • Alter existing workflows based on changing user requirements, Serve as the voice of the user, ensuring intuitive, efficient, and delightful end-user experiences
  • Provide first-line support to business and legal users of CLM platforms and legal AI tools through established support channels
  • Support data-quality, reporting, testing, and administrative activities as needed
  • Facilitate workshops, client presentations, and real-time problem solving
  • Maintain project ownership, monitoring timelines, scope, and budget to ensure successful outcomes
  • Deliver client-facing reports, proposals, and supporting documentation
  • Build expertise in legal technology tools, workflow best practices, and system integrations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, legal professionals, and developers
  • Stay ahead of legal tech trends and identify areas for innovation and growth

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially around processes and systems
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Experience creating process documentation and workflow diagrams
  • Comfort translating business requirements into technical specifications or configurations
  • Proficiency with productivity tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio or Lucidchart
  • Technical aptitude and a willingness to learn no-code or low-code platforms
  • Passion for legal technology, operations, or enterprise workflow automation
  • Experience working with legal departments or related functions is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset that is confident, adaptable, and proactive
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and remote-first environment
  • Bonus: familiarity with platforms like TAP, ServiceNow, Onit, Checkbox, Airtable, Malbek, or Tonkean
  • Four-year undergraduate degree in business, finance, legal studies, MIS, computer science, or a similar field
  • Three or more years of experience in consulting, legal operations, or process automation
  • Demonstrated leadership in academic, professional, or extracurricular settings
  • Relevant internships or early-stage startup experience preferred
