Job description

Summary

They are seeking a Junior Data Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and analytics infrastructure, ensuring data quality and availability.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and analytics infrastructure
  • Create, deploy, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and develop new data prototypes
  • Explore and document data sources, ensuring data quality and availability
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to build data pipelines from various data sources
  • Implement data quality checks, lineage capture, and operational dashboards
  • Prepare clear documentation, runbooks, and consumption contracts for data assets

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in an IT-related field
  • Foundational knowledge of SQL
  • Basic programming experience with Python (PySpark is a plus)
  • Understanding of Relational Databases & ETL/ELT concepts
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience in an IT-related field
