They are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to design, develop, and debug mission-critical software using modern languages and tools while participating in the complete software development lifecycle within an Agile framework.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and debug mission-critical software using modern languages and tools
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle within an Agile framework
- Utilize tools for work management and team collaboration
- Support the creation and updating of design, development, and testing documentation
- Plan, estimate, and optimize development tasks
- Develop maintainable code that adheres to specifications and contribute to automated testing
Skills
- Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of experience, or a Master's degree
- US Citizen with an active Secret clearance or higher
- Hands-on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming
- Practical experience with JavaScript and JS frameworks
- Ability to apply software development process fundamentals and complete tasks independently
- Strong desire to learn new programming languages, tools, and techniques
