Summary

Honeywell Technologies is a global automation company focused on helping customers operate critical processes safely, reliably, and efficiently. The Mechanical Engineer will support the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies, collaborating with cross-functional teams and conducting analysis, testing, and validation to ensure product performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications
  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies
  • Conduct analysis and simulations to ensure product performance and reliability
  • Support the testing and validation of mechanical designs
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

Skills

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
  • Must have graduated or graduating from an accredited college or university between August 2026 and May 2027 and be available to begin full-time work between September 2026- July 2027
  • Must have obtained degree within 12 months of the date of hire
  • Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
  • Motivated to drive improvements in a substantial environment
  • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
  • People who are results-oriented and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or necessary to by event
  • Experience in Mathcad / Matlab, AutoCAD, Robotic, Project Management etc
  • Experience with mechanical design projects or internships
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
  • Familiarity with product testing and validation processes
