Job description

Summary

Huntridge Labs is a digital engineering company focused on delivering modern, technology-backed solutions for public benefit. The Program Operations Coordinator will support federal AI and technical initiatives by coordinating workflows, tracking deliverables, facilitating stakeholder communication, reporting project health, and improving operational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CAIO leadership and technical leads to track ongoing AI initiatives, literacy efforts, research spikes, and client-facing deliverables from conception to completion
  • Maintain and optimize team boards, backlogs, and milestone trackers (primarily using Microsoft (Teams, Planner, Sharepoint), and Jira) to ensure transparent progress, clear ownership, and timely delivery
  • Facilitate day-to-day synchronization for a wide range of stakeholders, removing roadblocks and keeping communication channels open
  • Gather metrics, synthesize project health indicators, and prepare concise status updates, executive summaries, and meeting readouts for leadership
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement lightweight solutions to optimize efficiency
  • Drive meetings and ensuring action items are captured and followed through

Skills

  • You are a top performer in your current role
  • You are radically collaborative and transparent with your peers, clients, and leadership
  • You enjoy succeeding as a team
  • You love solving problems and trying new things
  • You hate bureaucracy, red tape, and wasteful processes
  • When you see something that's broken, you fix it
  • "That's not my job" doesn't exist in your vocabulary
  • 1–4 years of professional experience in program operations, project management, business analysis, or a technical operating environment
  • Hands-on experience with agile project management tools—specifically Jira and Microsoft—to track workflows, epics, and tasks
  • A natural inclination to look at a messy process and figure out how to make it smoother, faster, and more efficient
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities; comfortable distilling complex technical updates into clear insights for leadership and stakeholders
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where priorities can shift alongside emerging technology trends
  • A genuine enthusiasm for artificial intelligence, emerging tech, and supporting impactful federal or enterprise missions
  • Experience supporting technical teams (Software Engineering, Data Science, or AI/ML)
  • Familiarity with federal contracting environments or SDVOSB operations
  • Basic data analysis skills (Excel, Google Workspace, or lightweight BI dashboards)
