Job description

Summary

ICF is a global advisory and technology services provider that combines technology and expertise to address complex client challenges. The Quality Assurance Analyst will support the phased implementation of an enterprise grants management platform built on Salesforce Agentforce Public Sector by developing and executing testing activities, managing defects, validating integrations and data, and coordinating user acceptance testing. The role will help ensure releases meet acceptance criteria and are ready for secure, reliable production deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate Salesforce application functionality, workflows, configuration changes, integrations, reports, dashboards, and user experience
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, accessibility, and release validation testing across Salesforce environments, including Integration, Stage, and Production readiness activities
  • Support testing for major releases, minor releases, hotfixes, modernization activities, and platform-wide Salesforce changes
  • Validate Salesforce enterprise tools and operational capabilities such as release management portals, ticketing workflows, license tracking, user separation, helpdesk reporting, and other internal platform capabilities
  • Collaborate with developers, administrators, business analysts, release engineers, technical architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, technical design documents, and system workflows
  • Participate in Technical Design Document reviews and provide QA input on testability, regression impact, acceptance criteria, data needs, integration dependencies, and release risks
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or similar platforms, ensuring timely resolution, retesting, and closure
  • Support incident response and production issue validation by reproducing defects, validating fixes, supporting root cause analysis, and confirming that hotfixes resolve reported issues without introducing regression risk
  • Perform integration testing involving APIs, service accounts, connected applications, Salesforce org-to-org, app-to-app, and third-party integrations
  • Support user acceptance testing by preparing test scenarios, coordinating with business users, documenting outcomes, and validating that delivered functionality meets stakeholder needs
  • Validate data quality, data integrity, field mappings, reporting outputs, and migration or synchronization results when data changes are introduced
  • Create and maintain QA documentation, including test plans, test scripts, test evidence, defect reports, traceability matrices, release validation summaries, and quality metrics
  • Support Quality Control Metrics reporting by tracking testing progress, defect trends, release readiness, escaped defects, retest results, and other quality indicators
  • Validate compliance with Section 508 requirements for user-facing functionality, reports, portals, dashboards, and documentation where applicable
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test automation opportunities, regression test libraries, release checklists, and defect management workflows
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning sessions
  • Support occasional off-hours release validation, hotfix testing, or urgent production issue support as needed
