They are seeking a Quality Control Analyst to perform routine chemical testing and analyses in an FDA regulated environment, ensuring compliance with approved specifications and maintaining lab documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine chemical testing of raw materials and packaging components in accordance with USP or in-house methodology
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses using analytical instrumentation
- Utilize electronic laboratory information systems such as LIMS for processing analytical data
- Analyze data against approved specifications, notifying management of any OOS and aberrant results
- Perform peer review of laboratory testing, as required
- Create and maintain lab record documentation according to GMPs
- Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time throughout the work day
- Must have the ability to lift up to 20 lbs. on an occasional basis in order to perform job
Skills
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in FDA regulated environment
- Perform routine chemical testing of raw materials and packaging components in accordance with USP or in-house methodology

Qualifications
Must Haves
- BS or higher in science related discipline, chemistry is preferred
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in FDA regulated environment
