Job description

Summary

Intertek is a provider of quality, safety, inspection, and analytical assessment services, including support for petroleum and commodity markets. The Operations Coordinator dispatches inspector jobs, coordinates with terminal personnel, manages job orders, approves accounting figures, and tracks inspector equipment while occasionally collecting customer samples.

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch jobs for the inspectors
  • Enter job orders and update the job order board
  • Confirm jobs with terminal personnel
  • Keep track of inspector equipment

Skills

  • Proficient in math
  • A valid and current driers license with a reliable driving record
  • High School Graduate
  • Math Skills
  • Some knowledge of the oil industry
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Computer Skills and knowledge of inspection related business
  • Valid driver's license and reliable driving record is required
  • Applicants must reside, and be able to legally work, in the United States
  • Terminal – seaman – first officer experience preferred
