Summary

Jacoby & Meyers Accident & Injury Lawyers is seeking a skilled Pre-Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The role involves communicating with various entities, managing client relationships, conducting investigations, and ensuring all necessary documentation is collected to maximize case value.

Responsibilities

• Work within a dynamic and fast paced team environment
• Communicate with insurance adjusters, government entities, corporations, etc
• Pay strong attention to details in drafting correspondence to insurance companies, government entities, corporations, etc
• Ensure all possible information, evidence and documentation, including medical records and bills, loss of earnings documentation and change in lifestyle information is obtained as soon as possible in order to maximize case value
• Ensure clients receive the help they need to move their case along to the most favorable resolution
• Build client relationships, advise, and communicate with clients and family members during pre-litigation
• Conduct investigations – collect and analyze evidence in order to determine all potential claims and liability, potential defendants, and insurance coverages
• Conduct legal research
• Investigate facts of loss and research application of case law
• Analyze, manage, and review evidence to assess liability and determine case plans
• Review demand letters
• Attend pre-litigation mediations as necessary
