Responsibilities
- Support administrative tasks associated with client and case onboarding
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements and firm policies
- Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and internal staff
- Schedule consultations and follow up with prospective clients as needed
- Screen potential cases for eligibility under Social Security Disability guidelines
- Conduct detailed intake interviews to collect medical, employment, and personal history
- Explain the disability application and appeals process clearly and compassionately
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate client information in the case management system
- Answer incoming calls and respond to online inquiries from prospective clients
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency with computers, data entry, and CRM or case management systems required
- Ability to manage high call volumes and sensitive situations professionally
- Timezone: EST/EDT
- English, Spanish
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Previous experience in a law firm, client intake, or call center preferred
- Knowledge of Social Security Disability, including SSDI and SSI, is preferred but not required
