Summary
John Deere develops products and technologies that help address global challenges in food, fiber, and infrastructure. The Financial Analyst - New Product will develop cost and investment estimates, perform financial analysis, prepare AFEs, and track product cost and investment spending for new product programs.
Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional Product Line Management Teams to develop cost and investment estimates for new product programs
- Perform financial analysis and prepare AFEs for new product programs
- Work with teams throughout program life to track product cost and investment spending to aid in the management of program goals
Skills
- * 3 or more years of finance/accounting experience
- * Experience in financial analysis, including financial modeling
- * Demonstrated high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- * Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders (within and outside of Finance) at various levels of the organization
- * Strong communication (verbal and written) and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- * Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
- * Knowledge of Deere product cost theory and systems
- * Understanding of Profit by Product, structure lines, and normal volumes
- * Experience with PowerBI / other data analytic tools
