Summary
JTSi is a federal government consulting firm providing technical services to the Federal Government, including the Department of Defense and civilian agencies. The Recruiter T2 will manage full-cycle recruitment for security-cleared technical talent, partner with hiring managers, build talent pipelines, and support intelligence programs requiring high-level clearances. The role also involves adapting to recruiting tools and process transformation and using AI tools to improve sourcing and recruiting efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruiting process, from intake and sourcing through offer negotiation and onboarding
- Maintain an active requisition load, ensuring timely and effective candidate delivery
- Partner with hiring managers to develop compelling job descriptions and effective screening criteria
- Post requisitions on the career site, intelligence community job boards, and other relevant platforms
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies using ATS, job boards, referrals, networking, and industry events
- Build and nurture a diverse talent pipeline, including passive candidates
- Conduct thorough candidate screens to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and motivation
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers, coordinate interviews, and facilitate feedback sessions
- Negotiate, prepare, and extend offers; ensure a positive candidate experience through closing and onboarding
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market insights and recruitment best practices
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to recruit for intelligence programs and roles requiring high-level security clearances (up to Polygraph)
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with all security protocols
Skills
- MUST be a US Citizen and ONLY hold US Citizenship (No Dual Citizens)
- Candidate must be based on the East Coast, preference given to candidates located within a commuting distance of the Herndon, VA office (Will not be required to go into the office weekly only 2-3 times a quarter)
- This position requires access to customer data. Candidates must be U.S. citizens
- Experience recruiting for roles requiring polygraph clearances is required
- The recruiter should be someone who is flexible and open to change, as our team is going through a tools and process transformation
- This person should be comfortable learning new systems, adapting quickly, and helping improve the way we work
- We also want someone who is excited about using AI in recruiting and has experience with AI tools that support sourcing, communication, and efficiency
- " Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and 3-8+ years of technical recruiting experience
- " Must be based on the East Coast, preference given to candidates located within a commuting distance of the Herndon, VA office
- " 3+ years of proven experience in full life-cycle technical recruiting, within the federal, defense, or intelligence sectors
- " Strong understanding of OFCCP compliance and labor laws
- " Highly motivated, excellent customer-facing skills, and results-driven
- " Advanced sourcing skills, including Boolean search and passive candidate engagement
- " Exceptional communication, organizational relationship-building skills
- " Creative, solutions-oriented, and able to work independently
- " U.S. citizenship required
- " 0 -10% Travel - willing to travel for team events, meetings as needed
