Summary
Liberty Dental Plan is a mission-driven healthcare organization focused on improving access to quality dental care and delivering outstanding service to members, clients, providers, and communities. The Account Executive II serves as a trusted advisor for a portfolio of clients, managing relationships, supporting renewals and retention, analyzing account performance, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver effective dental benefits solutions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead contact for day-to-day client service and strategic account support
- Develop and execute relationship management strategies aligned with each client's business goals and objectives
- Analyze plan utilization, performance trends, and client needs to provide proactive recommendations and solutions
- Lead renewal activities, including developing and presenting renewal options, benefit design changes, and pricing strategies
- Partner with internal teams including Claims, Eligibility, Provider Relations, and Finance to resolve escalated issues effectively and efficiently
- Identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction, improve plan performance, and expand service offerings
- Facilitate client meetings, quarterly business reviews, and strategic planning sessions
- Support open enrollment strategies, employee education initiatives, and presentation development
- Maintain accurate client records, service documentation, and renewal milestones within company systems
- Monitor contractual performance expectations and ensure service commitments are achieved
- Mentor and support junior team members in client service and account management best practices
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in health insurance account management, client services, employee benefits, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of group health and dental insurance concepts, including underwriting, plan design, compliance, and claims operations
- Exceptional relationship-building and consultative account management skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and deliver value-driven solutions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
