Job description

Summary

Lockheed Martin is developing mission-critical Battle Management and Command & Control capabilities through its CommandIQ® product line. The Systems Engineer will support an agile development team by defining and documenting requirements, creating MBSE system models, reviewing systems engineering artifacts, and collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Decompose customer/stakeholder needs into higher-level roadmap features
  • Document system requirements
  • Create/refine MBSE models depicting system architecture and system activity/sequence diagrams
  • Perform peer reviews for fellow systems engineers to review SE artifacts
  • Participate in technical discussions to refine system requirements and decompose use cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers to ensure requirements and customer needs are being met by CommandIQ® technical solutions

Skills

  • Experience in MBSE (Cameo, Rhapsody)
  • Experience with Requirements Definition and Documentation (DOORS, Jama)
  • Experience with Use Case and Conops definition
  • Strong Familiarity with Systems Engineering V-Diagram Activities
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience or Advanced Degree in Systems Engineering
  • Experience participating in requirements elicitation activities
  • Experience participating in Verification and Validation Activities
  • Experience defining Data Models
  • Experience in Agile Methodologies & Tools
  • Previous IRAD Experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • For this role specifically, candidates who are local to Colorado Springs, CO or King of Prussia, PA are preferred
