Job description

Summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Talent Acquisition Analyst - Early Career Recruiter to support its Enterprise Talent Acquisition organization. The role manages college and intern requisitions from creation through hire, sources and evaluates candidates, coordinates interviews, extends offers, and ensures compliant, high-quality recruiting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to ensure requisition accuracy and completeness
  • Manage requisitions in Applicant Tracking System (SAP)
  • Source requisitions and collaborate with campus recruiters to ensure an adequate slate of qualified candidates
  • Evaluate employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities and other data pertinent to classification and selection of candidates. Consult with hiring managers on completing their responsibilities in the ATS in sequence and on a timely basis
  • Partner with business area partners and leaders on interview scheduling, including interview event planning at Lockheed Martin facilities and on-site support. Provide virtual and on-site interview planning and event support as needed. Provide direction to recruiting coordinators
  • Generate job offers with compensation and review offer for accuracy before releasing. Provide information on Lockheed Martin to candidates and exhibit strong sales skills to close the deal. Follow through on background investigation to ensure a timely start date
  • Throughout the Staffing process, the recruiter ensures that the company maintains a compliant posture in accordance with employment laws and other regulatory and Lockheed Martin policies and procedures. Provides a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Responsible for candidate sourcing and recruiting activities. Conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees and refers job applicants to specific job openings. Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral. Works with all levels of management to understand job and needs requirements. Surfaces candidates and develops networks to ensure a strong pipeline of qualified candidates using agencies, recruiting contractors, web-based tools, and other resources. Prepares ratings on applicants, provides applicants with information on the company, arranges transportation of selected applicants, extends formal job offers, and works with management and HR to negotiate with candidates to successfully complete the hiring and on boarding process
