Job description
Summary
Loop is a marketing and advertising company that helps brands build direct, honest relationships with the people they serve. The Staff Accountant will maintain accurate books, manage daily accounting activities, support month-end close, and prepare reports for the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities
- Record transactions and keep the general ledger up to date
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Send client invoices and follow up on payments
- Help with month-end close
- Prepare simple monthly reports for the CFO
- Keep organised records for our outside accountants
Skills
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
- Comfortable with Excel
- Detail-oriented and organised
- Able to work independently in a remote setting
- Degree in accounting or finance
- Experience in an agency or professional services business
Qualifications
Must Haves
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
