Summary
McLane Company, Inc. is a distribution industry company with a nationwide network supporting restaurant, retail, and e-commerce operations. The Industrial and Systems Engineer, Continuous Improvement I will lead process improvement, labor optimization, operational analysis, and engineered standards initiatives while partnering with site leadership and traveling extensively to support field operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead time studies and labor optimization efforts
- Analyze operational data and identify improvement opportunities
- Support Labor Management Systems and engineered standards
- Partner with site leadership to implement sustainable solutions
- Present improvement recommendations to leadership
- Travel up to 75% to support field operations
Skills
- Other applicable engineering degrees considered
- Experience with time studies and continuous improvement methods
- Labor Management, MOST, and engineered standards experience
- Working knowledge of Oracle SQL and Microsoft Office 365
- Strong oral and written communication skills with confidence presenting to leaders
- This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards
