Summary
Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. is a leader in power systems and service solutions, and they are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support evidence-based decision making. In this role, you will compile, analyze, and visualize complex data sets, identify trends and risks, and provide actionable insights that support performance tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Compile, clean, validate, and analyze large and complex datasets from multiple sources to support informed business decisions
- Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that clearly communicate insights, trends, and performance metrics
- Collaborate closely with business partners to understand data needs and translate them into meaningful analytical solutions
- Provide data-driven insights for cross-functional projects and participate in process improvement efforts
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and proactively identify emerging trends, risks, or variances
- Maintain data integrity by developing data quality checks and ensuring adherence to governance and reporting standards
- Create and maintain documentation related to data processes, reporting definitions, and standards
- Assist with forecasting, performance measurement, and other analytical initiatives across the Division
- Provide accurate and timely data and insights to support management, audit, and compliance needs
- Further the goals and positive image of SCD through cooperative, timely collaboration with other MEPPI departments, customers, and suppliers
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Data Science, or a related technical field
- 0–2 years of experience in data analysis, technical reporting, or technical support
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including aggregating and analyzing data from multiple sources
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple data collection and reporting tasks concurrently
- Willingness to learn and apply technical concepts to generate actionable insights
- Familiarity with Power BI
- Exposure to electrical distribution systems
Qualifications
Must Haves
