Summary
MJHS, through its Elderplan Medicare and Medicaid managed care health plans, is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to support provider and network contracting activities. The role assists with the credentialing and recredentialing of network physicians by auditing files, obtaining information from providers, creating credentialing profiles, and organizing provider data.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Credentialing Coordinator in the Credentialing and Recredentialing of Network Physicians by following through with requests and auditing files
- The credentialing coordinator will review files processed by external CVO or processed in-house to verify completeness, contact providers to obtain information for the credentialing process, and also create credentialing profiles and organize provider data
Skills
- High School diploma
- Minimum two (2) years of related experience
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and E-mail applications
- Managed Care and/or Credentialing experience preferred
