CVO Credentialing Coordinator

Summary

SCP Health is a healthcare organization that brings hospitals and clinicians together to support clinical effectiveness across the continuum of care. The CVO Credentialing Coordinator reviews practitioner applications, conducts primary source verification, resolves discrepancies, maintains credentialing databases, and ensures timely, accurate credentialing outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and monitors the review and analysis of practitioner applications and accompanying documents, ensuring applicant eligibility
• Conducts thorough investigation, research, and timely primary source verification of all components of the application file
• Identifies issues that require additional investigation and evaluation, validates discrepancies, and ensures appropriate follow-up
• Reviews necessary documentation and verifications prior to submittal to clients, ensuring turnaround time, productivity, quality of data and communication and collaboration are within required KPI expectations
• Responds to inquiries from other healthcare organizations, and interfaces with internal/ external customers on day-to-day credentialing/privileging issues as they arise
• Utilizes and maintains the credentialing database, optimizes efficiency, and performs queries, reports, and document generation
• Meets weekly performance metrics which include file completion, quality, and turnaround time
• Maintains strict confidentiality of all data and information

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows, Outlook)
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, equivalent field, or equivalent work experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience in hospital or managed care clinician credentialing
• Remote - United States
• Prior experience with the Christus credentialing process and CS Partners clinician scheduling process, preferred
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred
