Summary
Moore is a data-driven constituent experience management company serving nonprofit and purpose-driven organizations. The Data Analyst will collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data while developing reports, dashboards, automated data procedures, and insights to support nonprofit client strategies and decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, Key Performance Indicators, and other business tools to inform client strategy
- Leverage your coding skills to transform data into useable information that can be presented in Power BI, Excel, and/or other reporting tools
- Apply technical skills to deploy automated procedures that drive efficient data ingestion and transformation
- Identify trends, patterns, and outliers in complex data sets to drive decisions
- Work with internal team members to develop deep knowledge of our clients’ programs to produce more relevant analysis and deepen your analytic abilities
- Collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Identify errors in data files or reports and take measures to resolve them

Skills
- * Bachelor's degree
- * 1-3 years' experience in an analytical role
- * Excellent analytical skills
- * Effective communication skills. Ability to present findings clearly and concisely
- * Familiarity with fundraising metrics, file segmentation techniques, and direct marketing strategy
- * Demonstrated, hands-on experience with SQL and Python; a Snowflake environment a plus
- * Fundamental understanding of relational database design and reporting systems
- * Intermediate to advanced users of Excel with strong ability in formulas, functions, and pivot tables
- * Experience with statistical analysis methods and concepts like randomized controlled trials, hypothesis testing, summary statistics, regression, and other explanatory and predictive modeling frameworks
- * Experience with direct marketing and attribution across multiple channels, including but not limited to direct mail, website, digital advertising, email, and direct response TV
- * Attention to detail with the intrinsic ability to identify anomalies, discover the root cause, and correct underlying issues
- * Experience in direct marketing preferred
