Job Description
NETE is seeking a highly motivated, flexible, organized, and detail oriented JuniorClinical Data Analystto join our dynamic team at Bethesda, MD. Responsibilities
- Close collaboration with a multidisciplinary group of scientists, statisticians, clinicians and software engineers
- Perform digital clinical slide imaging review and image analysis according to established protocols.
- ‘Hands on” work with digital X-rays, CT-scans and other data sources including reviewing, recording, and analyzing data and maintaining proper documentation of the observed findings.
- Analyze, interpret, summarize and compile data, as directed by project lead.
- Manage high dimensional datasets, compile and standardize databases
- Design and implement workflows for data management and analysis
- Occasionally, assemble and present data to departmental, project, and cross-site teams
- Contribute to writing manuscripts and reports relating to feasibility, verification and validation of imaging software under quality system requirements
- Assist in intellectual property development, as needed
- Troubleshoot technical difficulties, as required
- Distill and present results to all levels of organization in clear, business language.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree (within 2 years) in Business Administration, Computational Biology or related discipline.
- At least 1+ years of relevant experience (work or volunteer/student)
- Experience with Microsoft office suite preferred.
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures used in the business analysis and design.
- Must be able to communicate complex clinical concepts clearly, both oral and written, and interpret regulatory guidance and identified vulnerabilities to a wide audience.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of data analysis tools including Excel Pivot tables, and other data analysis skills is a plus.
- Familiarity with visualization software like OHIF
- Knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of Quality Assurance.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Previous Clinical data work experience is preferred.
- Experience with Health Care IT Systems.
- Must have writing, editing, and formatting using Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF suite.
- Knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
- Must have strong research, writing, proofing, formatting and editing skills.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a Public Trust background security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information.
- Drive data-informed analyses
- Perform deep analyses of various types of data: numeric, categorical, and more.
- Find correlations and dependencies between desired outcome data and various available data sources that would be predictive of it.
- Demonstrate both quantitative and also qualitative methods as you’d have oncological subject matter experts to consult.
- Perform the common data processes: Query, verify, clean, impute, etc.
- Communicate your outcomes via reports, visualizations, dashboards, and code notebooks.
Work site location: Bethesda, MD. The position can allow work remotely within the DC/MD/VA commuting area. Any travel to the work site, as needed, would be the responsibility of the candidate and is not eligible for travel reimbursement.
