Summary
OVA.Work is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to streamline software development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience and will be responsible for designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and automating infrastructure provisioning.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve release processes
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance across infrastructure
- Maintain configuration management and environment consistency
- Document infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures
Skills
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash/Python)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Splunk
- Familiarity with Git and version control best practices
- Understanding of networking, security, and system administration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Kubernetes Helm, ArgoCD, or other GitOps tools
- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) are a plus
